The Cuddly Psychedelia of Philly's Tickley Feather
The carnival-esque, lo-fi psychedelia of Philly's Tickley Feather, aka Annie Sachs, has often been compared to Animal Collective. Therefore it makes sense that she has just been signed to their imprint, Paw Tracks.
"Natural," may be the only song that I have ever wanted to cuddle with. Her newest song, the instrumental "Tonite Is the Nite" is a groovy little fuzz-pop tune that sounds like it was recorded under a pile of pillows.
She only has one show listed on her MySpace and guess what? It's in Philly at Silk City on Wednesday and I advise you to check it out.
