Shrieking, off-kilter horns, fuzzy rhythm guitars and pounding drums? Now that's the Clinic that I fell in love with all those years ago on Internal Wrangler and on their debut EPs. I appreciate the band's attempt to change up their style over the course of the last few albums, but it never sounded quite right to me.

"Shopping Bag," from the forthcoming album Do It!, is a return to the band's earlier days when their only aspiration was to write fucked up garage songs. When lead singer Ade Blackburn was incoherent and sounding as if he was on the verge of madness. It's down and dirty drug punk at it's...ugliest!
