Quirky Synth-Pop from Forest and Crispian

Quirky Synth-Pop from Forest and Crispian

I am on a serious cheesy synth pop kick lately and I am adding relatively unknown Swedish band Forest and Crispian to my collection. They create what they call "New Wave Barbershop Rock," and basically what that means is that they are a synth-rock band with old-school harmonies. The focus here is on song-writing...and silliness. It's a little bit Cramps, a little bit Elvis and a whole lotta Cars. "Linda" is a prime example of their ability to write a great, quirky pop song. The accompanying video features the band dressed as figure skaters, rocking out on the ice, serenading their love...who happens to be...
see for yourself:

Buy Forest and Crispian's debut album Modern Sensation and other goodies at the band's New Wave Barber Shop.

And for some reason our music player is possessed and likes to make Forest and Crispian sound like The Chipmunks...just go for the download instead.
