Oh Bondage, Up Yours!: X-Ray Spex Video Retrospective

X-Ray Spex were one of the most original punk bands of the first British punk movement in the late 70's. In my mind, this band sticks out for two reasons. One reason being the angst-ridden wails of lead vocalist Poly Styrene. The other reason being the delightful squeals of saxophone player Rudi Thompson. X-Ray Spex shouted about anti-consumerism in a rudimentary, yet easily understood fashion...and it's a hell of a lot of fun!

So get pissed and buy the classic '77 album, Germfree Adolescents. Then, denounce the record and join the Hare Krishna after realizing the fault of your conformist/consumerist lifestyle.
