New Music Spotlight: The Name Battant Looks Good, and Their Music Sounds Even Better
Just so you know, the name Battant means nothing. According to the UK band's lead singer Chloe, the name "just looks good." I guess it really doesn't matter when a song like "Kevin 1989" sounds as good as it does. It's like Jello Biafra fronting The Undertones while performing on the 80's TV show Square Pegs. The song is definitely a hit, but something tells me that lyrics like "Kevin said he fucked the AIDS out of her" would not have been allowed on the show...then again, neither would have Biafra.
