New Music From Jay Reatard, "See/Saw"
And Jay Reatard's hit streak continues with the A-side of his new Matador 7" See/Saw b/w Screaming Hand. Erratic guitars wrestle with a whiplash rhythm that has become his trademark. The song parlays in a fuzzy, uptempo skitter until the intense ending arrives, and Jay cries out "She creeps me out/She crept me in again." Being trapped in a love/hate pendulum makes for excellent tune-age. Thanks to Kittenlips over at Sailor Jerry for the goods.
