Fusion lap-topper Boom Bip merged forces with Welsh psychedelic super-hero Gruff Rhys of Super Furry Animals to form Neon Neon in July of 2007. They released the single "Trick or Treat," which was a bouncy electro soul-fest, reminiscent of Beck's Midnite Vultures.

Now the two have reunited and have mellowed-out a bit on their new track "Raquel." With hypnotic grooves, poly-rhythmic beats, akin to LCD Soundsystem or even Giorgio Moroder, and flavorful Kraftwerk-esque synths, the two have taken a sharp turn onto the autobahn....in their Delorean. The forthcoming album, due out on Lex Records this fall, will feature the likes of Spank Rock and Fat Lip. Sure to be a fun record.
