Maskull: Music For Adult Contemporary Goths

Thankfullness to Lady Siltbreeze, Queen of the AM dial, for introducing me to Maskull, an example of outsider art at its best. This is easily the strangest record I have heard in a while, not to mention the fact that it's classified as an Adult Contemporary Gothic album.

I'm sure CD Baby is having trouble keeping this 1997 Maskull record in stock with it's exultant review of the album. "Troy Maskull's ghoulish voice and imperceptible melodies are loathsome, detestable and incomprehensible. Perhaps music would be better off if Maskull crawled back under the rock that he came from."

Feeling lonely? In a meth hole? Listening to this album from start to finish oughta be enough to make you see the light. CD Baby should give these away as a gesture of goodwill towards humanity, but they don't, you still gotta buy it.
