Love Song for Tech Nerds? The Hot Toddies "HTML"
Initially, I thought The Hot Toddies, four charming lasses from Oakland, CA, had created quite possibly the most adorable love song for tech nerds that I had ever heard. After I listened to the first minute of "HTML," from their 2007 release Smell the Mitten on Asian Man Records, I was rendered downright giddy. Until, that is, I realized it wasn't a love song at all, but something entirely different. Still, I like to think of it as being very wholesome (although the ending is quite funny).
