"Kenya Dig" The Ruby Suns?
Do you think Animal Collective is sometimes too difficult to listen to? Have you ever wished that Caribou would incorporate some African flavor into his music? Maybe you have never heard of these artists and wish I would just describe the song I am posting about! Fair Enough. The Ruby Suns' "Kenya Dig It" is a beautiful fusion of world music and psychedelia, as well as the first great song of the "can't-it-just-fucking-get-here-already" summer. Check out the trippppy video, directed by Gareth Shute, which features live footage of the band:
The band is currently on tour with Le Loup and their new album Sea Lion is available now on Lil' Chief Records. Dig it!
