Human People @ Kung-Fu Necktie: Review + Photos
With enough fog to simultaneously get you in the mood and suffocate you, Philly's Human People, became the first band to ever take the stage last Saturday at the city's newest venue Kung-Fu Necktie.
On such an epic occasion the band decided to compliment with a whirling, 5 minute instrumental voyage, reminiscent of old-school shoegaze and 70s krautrock, which was medicinal and uplifting to say the least. From there they went on to perform their emotional brand of electronic pop, sounding like a well-tweaked mix of The Knife and Depeche Mode. Check out, the very red and nicely shot photos:
