Hawkwind and The Master of the Universe
When you hear the phrase "Master of the Universe" what comes to mind? He Man, right? Well that is what I thought, but apparently I'm not enough of a psychedelic space rocker to know that is also a Hawkwind song.
From their live 1974 album Space Ritual, "Master Of the Universe" is just the kind of tripped-out, throbbing, Black Sabbath-esque jam that would dose She Ra, and Cringer, and Orko, and all the other Castle Greyskull regulars with a frenzied orgy of hallucinogenic excess.
