Gary Valentine Likes Girls

Gary Valentine Likes Girls

Gary Valentine, was in the original line-up of Blondie, but got replaced as their fame began to escalate toward the late 70's. Valentine contributed most to the Blondie legacy by writing the 1978 hit, "(I'm Always Touched By Your) Presence Dear." However, he was no longer with the group by the time of the song's release.

So what happened to that guy after Blondie? Well, for one thing he wrote some killer power-pop songs as solo artist and nowadays he writes occult books! I can only image how many more quality hit songs Blondie would have had if he has stuck around...

Check out Valentine's song-writing style in (I'm Always Touched By Your) Presence Dear," then listen to the ever-so new wave pop of "I Like Girls" and "The First One."
