Bo Diddley Bounces into the Beyond - A Walrus Tribute
Bo Diddley, one of Rock music's originators, passed away yesterday of heart failure at his home in Archer, Florida. Diddley's innovating music was an inspiration to many popular blue-eyed soulsters of his time like Buddy Holly, Mick Jagger, and Robert Plant. Check out this heavily edited / laugh tracked clip of Mr. Diddley and his guitar playing Bo-ettes performing the singles "Hey, Bo Diddley' and "Bo Diddley" on the TNT show in 1966. Shakin' it like a Polaroid picture!
Betcha didn't know that Bo wrote the song that made Baby and Johnny in Dirty Dancing crawl across the floor to each other.
