AmErykah the Beautiful
I think Erykah Badu is cool as shit and that she always has been. From Baduizm to The Cider House Rules, Ms. Badu never ceases to impress me with her style, her sounds, and her soul. The single "Honey," from her latest album New Amerykah Pt. 1: Fourth World War, released 2/26, is yet another example of her playful creativity. In a truly innovative form, Erykah pays homage to her favorite musical influences by way of a riff on sleevefacing. How many album covers can you recognize?
