Abe Vigoda is Alive! The Band, Not the Actor...

Are you Abe Vigoda or Kraftwerk...make up your minds!

Ok, so technically the actor known as Abe Vigoda is alive too, though you wouldn't know it...especially during a Friar's Club Roast. The bottom line is that the band, not the man, is DEFINITELY alive, ticking and about to explode...through your fucking speakers!

Like their Los Angeles no-wave brethren, No Age and Health, Abe Vigoda are loud, fast and fractured. "Sweater Shield" from their Sky Route/Star Roof LP sounds like DNA being fronted by a drunk Tom Verlaine and according to their bio, "they play really good shows above all odds, like having terminal cancer and mental illness." Kind of warms the heart...
